AFP Industries, Inc. was founded in 1971 by Frank and Dick Kish in Richmond, Virginia. They set the standard and provided a solid foundation whereby their hard work coupled with the support of our customers, have made AFP a leader in the Motion and Control marketplace.

Upon their retirement, Wayne Kish, President of AFP, continues with that same standard and strives to grow the company and better serve our customers. In 2005 we moved into our new 22,000 square foot corporate office and by 2008 needed to add an additional 10,000 square foot expansion for warehousing and fabrication.

In addition, AFP has several locations to meet our customer's needs, with sales and technical people located in Richmond, Ashland, Chesterfield, and Roanoke, Virginia, Greensboro, Raleigh, Rocky Mount and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. We also have three Parker Connector Stores located in Richmond, Ashland and Chesterfield, Virginia. Having a knowledgeable inside/outside sales team along with our highly trained engineering and technical team, we provide a high level of expertise to meet all your needs in the area of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical, Instrumentation and Manufacturing technologies.

It has always been our philosophy to provide our customers with excellent support. Some of the products AFP sells are of a very technical nature. In addition, the technology is constantly changing. We routinely send our employees to schools, seminars, refresher sessions, etc. to assure that we remain on the leading edge of technology in our various fields. We pride ourselves on having this technology base and the ability to use it to help our customers and give them the service that they need and deserve.

AFP currently has an extensive customer base. This includes OEMs, end users, integrators and resellers. They cover a broad range of industries including pulp and paper, coal mining, automotive, emergency vehicles, military, construction equipment and wood products.

The marriage of Fluid Power and Electrical Controls, along with our in-house Fabrication Shop, gives us the unique advantage of being able to provide a complete motion and control solution when the customer needs a total system approach.
