SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER

This position requires strong computer skills, ability to learn, and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Excellent communication skills necessary. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Order Entry:

•  Manage the customer purchase process, from order entry, creation of job folders, acceptance of changes, status updates, logistics and shipment criteria, and monitoring customer supply chain portals for new orders. Consult engineering/vendors to provide alternative components for obsolete or unavailable materials.

Supply Chain:

•  Utilize project management software to request/document changes, communicate important project information to customer, salesmen, or engineering.

•  Processing spot orders and stock transfers from shop inventory.

•  Consult engineering/vendors to provide alternative components for obsolete or unavailable materials.

•  Complete paperwork and filing of closed purchase orders, etc.

Returns:

•  Manage the return process and documentation.

Purchasing:

•  Maintain current vendor information to include current pricing and special pricing agreements in the inventory system.

•  Match stock orders to forecast, consolidating incoming shipments when possible, and notifying salesmen of price changes and supply disruptions.

HYDRAULIC TECHNICIAN / CHARLESTON, SC

This position disassembles and inspects, evaluates, reconditions, reassembles and rebuilds hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders and other components. Must have the ability to read schematics and operation sheets. This position is responsible for inspecting, identifying and installing seals, inspecting valves and pumps, and testing and set-up of all repaired equipment. Should be proficient in basic cylinder assembly and teardown skills. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

This position provides customer service and support, filling and processing orders, interacting with customers, performing hose assemblies, maintaining organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.

•  Greets and interacts with customers, assisting with purchases.

•  Collects and processes onsite payments.

•  Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.

•  Performs other duties as assigned.

• Develops maximum automation sales potential out of assigned territory through competitive sales techniques and knowledge of AFP automation products and services.

• Builds and maintains positive relations with existing accounts, and increases account base and volume of automation sales on a consistent basis.
 
• Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods including company leads, networking and cold calls, following up on leads promptly.
 
• Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs. 

• Stays current in market conditions regarding products, product updates, service offerings and new technologies.
 
• Creates customized proposals to meet specific customer requirements efficiently. 

• Works with vendor representatives and AFP sales and technical teams to solve customer applications.
 
• Performs other duties as assigned. 

The ideal candidate may have:

• Associates degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, or equivalent experience.  Bachelors in Mechatronics or Industrial Automation preferred. 

• Prior sales experience a plus.
